Absolutely the worst tour we have ever taken! Raymond, our tour guide was very nice but just an awful guide. He was not a local and knew very little about Lucerne. He would take us to a site and read the historical signs that were posted and then turn around and tell us what he read. He would not talk to us while walking from site to site to give us other city facts and history. This was a walking tour and he was not what I would consider a walker. He took us on the city bus. After he asked a local which bus we needed to take we waited 7 minutes for the bus to come. We got off the bus 3 blocks from where we started!!! I told him at the beginning of the tour that I wanted to walk up to the Musegg wall and go in the towers. He was very against this. After the tour we walked up there. It was not a far walk but was up top of the city. I’m convinced that Raymond wouldn’t take us there because he could not have made the walk. So we had a local guided walking tour with a guide who was not a local and did not know the city and appears was not physically able to do the one part of the walk we wanted
