Not a real floating market.
anandaraju_s, Jan 2024
4 stars because, This is not a real floating market. It is physical ground based market with canals for show. Unfortunately our guide did not know good English. You only go to the boat for the evening firefly visit, which is amazing. If you want to go the real floating market explore, other tour options. Communication from the tour company was very prompt.

Sawadee kha, Thank you for your feedback and 4-star rating, very much appreciated. There are a lot of so-called 'floating markets' in Thailand. In Thai they are called 'talaat nam' which is literally translated as 'water market' but often gets translated as 'floating market' However, many of these markets are markets along a canal, Amphawa being one of them. Hope to see you again some day!

Nok was a great tour leader. She was very knowledgeable and caring. Explained the history and showed us where to eat and also meet. Was very well timed, we arrive in time to see the train pass through and the floating market was great.
