    What you can expect

Venture beyond London to explore some of England’s most iconic and historic landmarks in one unforgettable day. Step onto the royal grounds of Windsor Castle early in the morning to avoid the crowds, ponder the mysteries of Stonehenge, and roam the UNESCO-listed stone streets of Bath after lunch in traditional English pub.

Depart from central London and be among the first to enter Windsor Castle*, the weekend home of the Royal Family. Explore the grand State Apartments and pay your respects at St George’s Chapel, the site of royal weddings, burials, and the final resting place of the late Queen Elizabeth II. (Entry to Windsor Castle included if option selected)

Next, journey to the mysterious monoliths of Stonehenge, rising dramatically from Salisbury Plain. Learn the fascinating theories behind this 5,000-year-old prehistoric monument and admire its engineering marvel up close. (Entry included if option selected)

For lunch, stop in the picturesque village of Lacock, famous for its medieval charm and film appearances. Here, enjoy a hearty one-course meal at the George Inn, a traditional 14th-century English pub steeped in history and atmosphere, a true highlight that sets this tour apart. (Pub meal included if option selected)

Finally, arrive in the UNESCO-listed city of Bath, founded on natural hot springs in Roman times. Take in the elegant architecture on a comprehensive tour, visiting Bath Abbey and standing on Poultney Bridge to gaze down at the flowing waters of the River Avon before some free time to shop or enjoy afternoon tea and classical music at The Pump Room before your evening return to London.

*When Windsor Castle is closed (currently Tuesdays & Wednesdays), the tour includes free time in the town of Windsor instead.
