From here, inhale the fresh mountain air from 7,000 feet (2,100 m) and gaze out over the incredible 360-degree panorama of the Alps.

    Up here, you may choose to head to a sunny terrace for a refreshing drink at one of several restaurants before experiencing the descent on the steepest cogwheel railway in the world. Board a boat at Alpnachstad and venture across the picturesque lake to Lucerne, where you have time to explore the historic picture-perfect city centre at your leisure. Meet your tour guide in the late afternoon for the return coach ride to Zurich.
